I once read in the New Testament, I think, that too much prayer is sinful, could you please tell the book it's in. Too much, meaning praying over and over for the same thing.
Is it wrong to say the Rosary?
I believe these two questions fit in the same category: First writer: "I have a relationship with a young man. He does not currently attend church. He states that he believes in Christ, but he has never been saved. When he was younger he was baptized. I enjoy going to church and [I am] praying to grow in the Lord. He would eventually like to be married. My question is, ‘Should the saved marry the unsaved that has not fully committed himself to the Lord?'"

My question has to do with prayer. I believe that God knows all and that He knows what our lives will be like before we live them. If this is the case, where does prayer come in? Does it really change God's mind when we pray or is it just to bring us closer to Him? Also, when I give Him something in prayer (such as the salvation of a loved one) sometimes I feel like I don't trust God enough if I pray for it again and again. I know we are to pray without ceasing, but what about when we're told to give our troubles to Him and then not take them back? Is repetitive prayer against His will?

I was an abused child both sexually and psychologically ...
