Question: What evil spirit do you think is newly coming about across America?
Question: You wrote an article claiming that Jesus did claim divinity with regards to Isaiah 7:14, but there’s a problem with this verse…Quote from a web page: “ha’almah, a feminine noun with a definite article, “the young woman.”
This noun has traditionally been translated as “virgin,” but research reveals that more likely it means “a young woman of marriageable age” (i.e., old enough to bear a child) without any specific indication of whether or not she is a virgin.”
Question: Where does the Bible compare being unevenly [unequally] yoked [in marriage] to a cow and horse being unevenly yoked and trying to plow together?; Is Polygamy okay?; Musical instruments in the Church; How do I love an enemy that hates me?
Question: What is God telling us (in the following verses), beyond the obvious? Both cities where these events took place were totally destroyed. Did God provide the detailed description of these people’s sinful behavior so that we could conclude that EVERY city state in Canaan was guilty of this identical crime and MUST be totally destroyed? Are we being told homosexuality was customary for those who worshiped Baal and Asherah?
“They shouted to Lot, ‘Where are the men who came to spend the night with you? Bring them out so we can have sex with them.'” (Genesis 19:5) NIV
“While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men in the town surrounded the house. They began beating at the door and shouting to the old man, ‘Bring out the man who is staying with you so we can have sex with him.'” (Judges 19:22) NIV
Refuting Islam’s Claim that Jesus, The Bible, and His Disciples Never Taught that Jesus is God
Revised and Expanded
by Gary T. Panell
Br. Shabir Ally claims that he can prove from the Bible, from Jesus’ words, and from His disciples’ words that Jesus never taught that He is God. He says Jesus never claims divinity. He is sure that, “None of the Bible’s writers believed that Jesus is God.” He contends, “Jesus is not all-powerful, and not all-knowing.” He claims that he can prove that God and Jesus are two separate beings, and that the Bible denies the divinity of Jesus.
