Question: I am 19 years old and I am in love with a guy. I love him so much. I told him that having sex is bad according to the Bible. Question: What is God telling us (in the following verses), beyond the obvious? Both cities where these events took place were totally destroyed. Did God provide the detailed description of these people’s sinful behavior so that we could conclude that EVERY city state in Canaan was guilty of this identical crime and MUST be totally destroyed? Are we being told homosexuality was customary for those who worshiped Baal and Asherah?

Question: Isaiah 53:5 says that by His stripes we are healed. I’ve heard many pastors state this is the biblical basis for God’s physical healing to us, while others say that this particular passages is referring to spiritual healing. I know, and scripture confirms, that God can heal us, but is the context of this verse physical or spiritual? Both are true but I believe using the verse in the correct context is dividing the word of truth.
Question: Decisions about illness
Answer: You cannot look at the gospels without seeing that, besides preaching the gospel, a huge part of Jesus’ ministry was spent on healing. He healed many types of diseases, and sicknesses. He healed the broken hearted, cast out demons, and raised the dead. Jesus’ ministry was one of reversing the damage Satan was doing to people’s lives. “The Spirit of The LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” (Luke 4:18-19)

Question: Where does the Christian go at death?
Answer: Jesus said: “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:1-3).
