Explain unevenly yoked, my husband is from Africa and is Muslim and I am Baptist. The following questions have been grouped together-What does the Bible say about living together and sleeping together before marriage? Is it okay to have sex with my husband when I am having my periods? Is it ok for a Christian woman to marry a Muslim man in the eyes of Christianity? These two questions came at different times, but I believe they could be related. 1. If a husband is into drunkenness, he steals from his wife and their children, he has been verbally and physically abusive, and he has had extra martial affairs, is she wrong for divorcing him (paraphrased)? I love a Muslim very much and I am a Christian. We both strongly love God and we pray that he is with us. We want to pray together that God will be with us and be on our side. After reading your site I was touched. As I have always felt this way. I can worship in any church with believers. I do have one problem. My husband is Catholic and I was raised Methodist. I recently found out my husband has a profile on -----.net and --------.com. After having a check up, I found out that I have a STD. What does the Bible say to do?" Where does the Bible compare being unevenly [unequally] yoked [in marriage] to a cow and horse being unevenly yoked and trying to plow together?; Is Polygamy Okay?; Musical instruments in the Church; How do I love an enemy that hates me? I'm a Christian man and I'm in love with a Muslim girl. She's [at] work with me. I've never thought of being married [with] her because I'm living in a country that prohibits Christian men marrying Muslim women, so I'm just loving her. The problem is that from the time I felt emotions towards her, I felt things going upside down in my life and I started thinking that this might be God's voice for me to stop loving her. Prior to becoming born again, I married a Muslim man. The marriage ceremony was performed by a Muslim priest (Imam). Am I married to this man in the eyes of God? Is it wrong for a Christian wife to leave a non-Christian husband? The marriage is unbearable. Should a Christian woman stay in a marriage of verbal abuse for over 20+ years when the husband refuses to go and get some help and counseling and is angry at the whole world and he is also a racist. He has repeatedly said that he has done nothing wrong and that he is not changing for anyone especially his wife and daughter. I was married to a man who called himself a Christian and who ended up beating me all day. I asked for help and we got separated for one year. I accepted him back, because he said he was now a new man and also because of our two boys. He continued to beat on all of us. We got divorced . I found this.man to whom I am married now and we are truly happy. We are a real family. The children are great and we attend a local Christian church always with a great joy in our hearts. My question is: am I living in sin? Thanks This is embarrassing, but I can't get knowledge if this act of oral sex is considered immoral within the marriage. If two consenting adults, I was told, then it would be all right. What if one does not consent-namely the wife who is supposed to be submissive to her husband. Please help me! I did live with my husband during our engagement for about a year before we were married. We dated about 2 years, were engaged, and will be married 2 years in the beginning of September. Regardless, I had confessed and repented of the sin of living together shortly after we married. I just started my career in Ohio. My ex and I just got back together and we are now engaged. She lives in California. We met each other in college and have been together for about four years. We want to be together, but her problem is that she has a problem with moving to Ohio.
