Guess who might lose money over abstinence program
Planned Parenthood affiliates are suing the Trump for promoting abstinence but a pro-life activist suspects the abortion giant is starving for money.
According to Breitbart, the Trump administration has cut millions in grants from Obama-era Teen Pregnancy Programs (TPP) after data revealed the programs were not effective.
Matt Lamb of Students for Life of America says Planned Parenthood needs taxpayer money to survive.
“And the Trump administration very rightly is redirecting these funds to providers and organizations that promote good choices – that promote life-affirming care, that don’t commit abortions,” he tells OneNewsNow.
Planned Parenthood’s objective, says the pro-life activist, is to get in front of as many students as early as possiblemuch like a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
“They’re going to portray themselves as just another healthcare provider,” he warns, “so that down the road, when that student is 16 or 17 or 18, they’ll come to Planned Parenthood for birth control and abortions.”
Lamb predicts the lawsuits will ultimately fail because of pro-life judges recently appointed to federal courts.
