(TRUNEWS) Top geopolitical analyst, F. William Engdahl, predicts that there will be a war in the Middle East by late 2016.

Engdahl’s statement were made during an interview with Rick Wiles of TRUNEWS  on Monday, when asked where he saw the world going in the new year.

On the subject of the U.S. Constitution, Engdahl said the U.S. Patriot Act essentially destroyed that document in American society, and gave the oligarchs and hegemon’s behind the scenes the ability to turn the country into a police state.

“These same oligarchs and hegemon’s have been enacting a long term plan to create chaos, disrupt energy, and militarize the Middle East,” Engdahl said. He also noted that he believes this was the same group which worked with the CIA, Lyndon B. Johnson, and local mafias, to assassinate President John F. Kennedy, for opposing their nefarious agenda.

In Engdahl’s view, both political parties are identically corrupt, run by billionaire oligarchs such as Sheldon Adelson and George Soros. He noted that Donald Trump meets a similar criteria, and though he doesn’t trust him, he does however believe his plans and rhetoric have a shot at re-building America if brought to fruition.

When asked by Rick Wiles why Middle Eastern countries were still pumping oil despite the price crashing to $28 per barrel today, Engdahl said that Iran was not likely to actually increase their output for years to come, Saudi Arabia is simply trying to drown out the ‘cowboys’ in the American Shale industry, and Russia needs the cash.

Engdahl also made the prediction that the oil price will not stay low for long, advising that people can expect the price to ‘sling-shot’ up to previous highs in roughly 6 months.
