The enemy of the West is my friend (for now)
There is a unholy alliance between Islam and the Left because they both share a common enemy, which is Christianity, which they both want to destroy, says Leo Hohmann.
That’s because both of them, he says, have a globalist objective and Christianity stands in the way.
“And you look at what’s standing in the way of that and it’s nationalism, borders, Christianity. They both hate all those things,” Hohmann told Janet Mefferd, the noon-time talk show host at American Family Radio.
Hohmann, a news editor at World Net Daily, traces that relationship in his book, “Stealth invasion: Muslim conquest through immigration and resettlement Jihad.”
His warnings mirror those of Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser at the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, and ex-Muslim feminist Ayaan Hirsi Ali (see video below) among many others.
The history of the Muslim Brotherbood dates back to the 1940s in Egypt, where it was eventually outlawed under a secular government that scoffed at first when Brotherhood followers demanded that Sharia law dictate politics and culture. After decades of attacks, bombings and a presidential assassination, Egypt was no longer laughing.
The country’s secular leaders deposed Brotherhood supporter Mohamed Morsi in 2013 after the Brotherhood gained power under his presidency.
Today the Brotherhood is considered the suit-and-tie faction of radical Islam because its followers use government and politics – instead of a gun and sword – to spread an Islamic caliphate throughout the world.
In the United States, says Hohmann, the Brotherhood is taking advantage of liberal immigration laws to increase its numbers and establish “settlements” on behalf of Islam.
“And building alliances with left wing or other supportive organizations here in the United States, who are not Islamic,” Hohmann charges, “to conduct sort of a grand Jihad to the point where after destroying these other institutions, Islam would be the only one left standing, the only religion left and reign supreme in America.”
