Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) will hold a homosexual Pride celebration event this week, and the newly appointed AG and DOJ Pride plan to honor Gavin Grimm – the Virginia transgender girl who has been in a legal battle to use school facilities designated for biological boys. They will present Grimm, who proclaims to be a boy, with the Gerald B. Roemer Community Service Award.

Even though her pubic high school campus constructed a transgender restroom to accommodate the gender-confused student, it was not enough, and she will not quit until she is allowed to use the facilities, change and shower with boys.

Grimm has become the poster child for the LGBT’s aggressive transgender agenda.

“Years after my battle for equality started, one thing remains the same: I’m still barred from using the boys’ restroom in my school,” Grimm complained acout her experience, according to Medium.com. “Our opponents can’t stop justice; they can only delay it. The law is on ou r side. Even though I’m graduating without a resolution to my case, I know we’re going to win this fight.”

The transgender student’s case was scheduled to go before the United States Supreme Court earlier this year, but after Sessions and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos rescinded former President Barack Obama’s pro-LGBT pubic school guidance calling for campuses to radically accommodate transgender students, it was sent back to the appeals court for future consideration. LGBT activists are complaining that the delay sets Grimm’s challenge to be resolved in court after her June 10 graduation date, according to BuzzFeed.

Trumped by transgenders?

Americans for Truth about Homosexuality (AFTAH) President Peter LaBarbera of Americans told OneNewsNow that it appears the homosexual group Log Cabin Republicans – as well as moderates and liberal Republicans – are gaining the upper hand on the issue.

“I think another thing that’s happening is Trump is looking out the legal landscape – and they’re seeing that the transgenders are winning – and so they’re trying to already deal with that,” LaBarbera surmised the situation. “And they’re preemptively surrendering on the transgender issue – legally speaking – and that is also a tragedy.”

President Donald Trump has appointed some social conservatives, but homosexual and transgender issues are gaining ground – meaning that there is a battle within his administration.

“The homosexual, bisexual and transgender agenda is not compatible with true conservativism,” LaBarbera pointed out. “And in so far as the Trump administration – or any administration, Republican or Democrat – [if it] celebrates gender confusion and sexual perversion, that is social liberalism … regardless of whether there’s an ‘R’ or [a] ‘D’ beside their name.

In lieu of the current LGBT situation in the DOJ, LaBarbera insists that Christians must get involved and hold the Trump administration accountable for protecting the conservative Judeo-Christian values he vowed to champion while on the campaign trail.
