Living in the light, boldly sharing her faith

 Tuesday, May 8, 2018

 Ainsley Earhardt (Fox News anchor)Ainsley Earhardt spends three hours every weekday in front of America on the Fox & Friends couch – but 24 hours a day trying to influence the world for Christ.

It’s not every day that viewers can turn on their television to a secular news channel and hear this:

Steve Hilton: “So tell us the story: What’s behind this book, and what does faith really mean to you?”

Ainsley Earhardt: “There is a light that I have found that lives inside me, and I have found it through Jesus Christ.”

Thanks to the boldness and success of Fox News anchor Ainsley Earhardt, such comments may become more common. Earhardt – who’s been making the rounds talking about her new book, The Light Within Me – desires to be a role model for other Christian women who might be drawn to a career in journalism.

“I hope that other women can look at me and say I can be myself and I can be appreciated and I can make it to the top even if I talk about God,” she shares with OneNewsNow.

"Light Within Me" (book cover)The South Carolina native a big believer in the verse found in the New Testament Book of Romans that says “for those who love God all things work together for good” (Romans 8:28).

“I’m hoping that I can influence young women and teach them that you don’t have to be perfect,” Earhardt continues. “We all have our sins and we all have mistakes that we’re going to make in our lives, but you can be celebrated for being real and telling your story.”

In her book, Earhardt talks about some of the hard things she’s had to go through in a life that looks charmed. She’s on her second marriage; she went through a miscarriage – but through it all, there was the light.

“I feel like God has put me on this platform, this big stage, because he knew I wasn’t going to be afraid to tell my story,” she says.

The Light Within Me released on April 24.

    Ainsley, Thanks for your Bible Study work. Would you please do me a favor and answer this easy question;
    How do you define the saving Gospel?

      Hi Anthony, This is what Paul says is the Gospel: “Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you–unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,…1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Brother Gary

    Ainsley, I love watching you on Fox. You are one beautiful woman that God has created and there is a reason God has put you where you need to be. I have a rather long story I wish to share with you but later on.
