NEA working hard to run off teachers

NEA seal 620x300A former homosexual who is now a pro-family advocate has some harsh words for the National Education Association’s advancement of the LGBT.

At their annual meeting last month, attendees at the NEA convention in Washington, DC, seemed more focused on pro-homosexual topics rather than issues of how to improve education.

“What the NEA has become is an advocate for the exploitation of children and a promoter of issues of people with mental health disorders,” says Greg Quinlan, president of The Center for Garden State Families.

Quinlan strongly criticized the vote to overwhelmingly approve an executive Ccommittee amendment that supports a ban on therapy for students who are battling same-sex attractions.

“Eight thousand delegates showed up in Washington, DC,” he says. “Fifty of them voted in opposition to this issue. Only 50 had the courage to do that.”

He says within the NEA there is a culture of hate and intimidation directed at people of faith – and more specifically, at teachers of faith.
