David Hall – a longtime information technology employee – has been targeted for termination by the Social Security Administration, which announced in April that all employees must be trained in LGBTQ “diversity and inclusivity.” The 42-year-old man explained that his Christian convictions are that sodomy is not healthy, normal or good for people, maintaining that the so-called “training” violated his sincerely held religious beliefs.

A call to support sin?

The 17-minute video that reportedly promotes the LGBT agenda on lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender and queer issues was brought before Hall by his supervisors, who instructed him to view it – giving him no option to decline.

Responding to the demand, Hall refused to view the indoctrination video, which is complete with “tips for increasing cultural awareness in a diverse and inclusive environment.” He explained to his supervisors that the training endorses sinful behavior.

“I’m not going to certify sin,” Hall shared with WCIA-TV over the matter.

When Hall declined the agency’s order to take part in the LGBTQ agenda training, his superiors gave him an official reprimand for his refusal before suspending him without pay – due to his “intolerance.”

Hall argues that the United States Constitution guarantees his right to hold to his religious belief and not be forced by the government to submit to its anti-Christian teachings.

“Hall explained that he thought the training was basically homosexual propaganda and said the First Amendment free exercise of religion gave him the constitutional right to not participate in ‘abomination’ training,” LifeSiteNews reports. “He shared that he has gay and lesbian friends, he holds no animosity against anyone, and he does not discriminate against anyone, but diversity ‘training’ in sexual deviance went against his religious beliefs.”

The devout Christian acknowledges that he could ultimately lose his job for holding to his religious convictions and encourages other Christians in America to take a loving stand against the homosexual agenda that has permeated every sector of society.

“This is something I want to fight and expose – to give other Christians the courage of their convictions,” Hall shared.

He also noted that a number of other employees at his work share his convictions on the matter, but maintained that they are “scared” to express their feelings – out of fear of being fired.

Modern-day Christian hero?

Americans for Truth President Peter LaBarbera insists that Hall should be commended by fellow believers for his bold stand for his faith.

“David Hall is a hero,” LaBarbera insisted when interviewed by LifeSiteNews. “He is absolutely correct: LGBT ‘diversity’ sessions and films are NOT truly ‘diverse’ because they disrespect or ignore faith-based and moral opposition to homosexualism and transsexualism.”

The Christian leader appreciates Hall’s candid depiction of the situation, corroborating his biblically backed perspective that LGBTQ behavior is a clearly a sin and should not be embraced by Christians as a perfectly moral lifestyle.

“Hall is also correct that this is pure propaganda, designed to legitimize a sin movement,” LaBarbera pointed out. “Ironically, people are getting fired and disciplined simply for refusing to bend their faith to appease an Orwellian ideology that purports to be about – get this – ‘non-discrimination!’”

The pro-family advocate hopes that Hall’s stand will embolden other Christians in America to start a movement where they do not surrender their constitutional right – of freedom of religious expression – due to government bullying and pressure.

“By calling out this forced groupthink, David Hall is helping to educate others – and ultimately standing up for our First Amendment freedoms,” LaBarbera impressed.  “People like him willing to suffer for liberty’s sake keep us all free.”
