A pro-life ‘cord of 3 strands’ established
The Ohio-based Life Issues Institute has announced it is merging with the Susan B. Anthony List and the Charlotte Lozier Institute – the latter being the research arm of the SBA List, which combines politics with policy to advance pro-life laws to protect the unborn.
Brad Mattes, president and CEO of the Institute, says it’s a perfect fit for the organization.
“I would go as far to say that I believe now – with our combined forces – we are the most effective pro-life group in the nation covering politics, elections, education, and advocacy on behalf of unborn babies and their moms,” he tells OneNewsNow.
The three elements, he explains, will operate separately but function as one.
“We now have access to teams of people [who] are top-drawer individuals for communications, for fundraising, for I.T., for research, for legislation,” says Mattes. “All of these people now are available to us to help us whenever we need it.”
So Life Issues Institute, which bills itself as “the leader in pro-life education,” just got stronger – and Mattes says with a pro-life Congress and president the effort to end the holocaust of abortion continues marching forward.
“[This merger] create[s] a powerful force that will send Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby running scared,” he states in a letter to supporters announcing the move. “I’m excited to see what God will accomplish through this new partnership.”
Ecclesiastes 4:12 – “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
