Baal worship is alive and well in America and the world – though they do not call it that today. Let me explain.
First, we must look back in time, and see how Baal was worshiped. Actually, there were two gods which were essentially worshiped the same way, Baal and Ashtoreth. Molech was another such god. Two practices in particular are mentioned in Scripture.
First, sexual orgies “under every green tree,” where promiscuity and perverted sex acts were the norm.
Second was passing their babies through the fire. This was murdering the babies that resulted from the orgies by throwing them alive into a fire pit to be burned to death. These things were done in the name of the pagan idol-gods Baal, Ashtoreth, and Molech.

How are we doing this today? The gods have been renamed “Sexual Freedom” and “A Woman’s Right to Choose.” The religion is called “Pleasure and Convenience.”
We live in an age of loose moral standards, where it is acceptable and encouraged for us to have sexual partners outside of marriage. Just watch television; There is hardly a show on tv that does not glorify hunting sexual partners, or having such relationships without being married first.
Then when the seed bears fruit, we murder the unborn baby. One method of abortion is a saline/chemical solution injected into the womb which literally burns the baby to death. Another is to go in with a knife and cut the baby up (torture and cutting also being a popular form of satanic worship). Then there is the partial birth abortion, where they crack open the skull of a partially born child and suck out the brains with a vacuum.
The priests are the abortion doctors, and the teachers are our television writers/producers and others who promote this lifestyle. One of the high temples is “Planned Parenthood,” an organization whose sole purpose is make modern Baal worship acceptable to the people.
In ancient times much of Israel was drawn into Baal worship. Their neighboring countries practiced it, so they wanted to practice it too, to get along with their neighbors. God called them out to be separate, but they wanted to be liked by the world
History repeats itself. Many churches today take a soft stance on sin, particularly sexual sin. Divorce/remarriage and sexual immorality of almost every kind is found almost as often in many of our churches as it is in the world. Some even approve of abortions. Like the ancient Jews, they are mixing worship of Christ with worship of Baal.
Jesus told us to come out from among them, be separate, be holy. He taught that if we are really His followers then we will be different from the world. He warned us that the world would hate us, because our righteousness would convict them of their sin.
But the Bible also teaches that in the last days the professing church would become more and more like the world. That we would have a form of religion, a form of godliness, but no real power. Even that we would claim Christianity while actually denying that Christ is the only way of salvation.
Like never before in history, this is happening today. We are joining ourselves to other religions, we are raising up the flag of Baal worship in the name of Tolerance and false love.
God judged Israel by sending Babylon and Assyria against Israel and Judah. These were the first two of seven beast empires which have come (for more on these, read Beyond Fiction, by Donald Rowen). The same thing is soon to come upon the professing church!
An ancient altar of Baal
So could the sign of Baal actually appear on American soil?
The idea that anything linked to an ancient Canaanite god would be erected in America would seem unthinkable. But just as it was with the nine ancient harbingers of judgment, so it has now taken place – the Sign of Baal has manifested on American soil.
It took place on a rainy Monday afternoon, Sept. 19, 2016. It happened in the city of the harbingers of judgment – New York City. No one who erected it or who unveiled it had any idea what they were doing – just as with the harbingers – but they did it anyway.
One of the centers of Baal worship in ancient times was Palmyra, Syria. The city contained not one but two prominent temples to Baal. The Romans erected an arch there to lead to the Temple of Baal. So, the worshipers of Baal would walk through the arch and approach the temple in which they would venerate their god. This arch that led to the Temple of Baal was reproduced down to the smallest detail and erected in New York City.
It was erected in the park outside City Hall. It sat covered in a giant sheet to keep it cloaked until the time of its unveiling. Seats were set up around the veiled arch so that leaders and dignitaries could watch.
Before the moment of unveiling, a live band began playing Middle Eastern music. As one listened to the drumbeat, one could imagine similar music being played as worshipers ascended the ancient Temple of Baal.
A black slate of stone sat at the side of the arch reminding the people of the connection. On the slate was an image of an ancient temple with the words “Temple of Bel (Baal).”
Now Satanists are bringing Baal worship to the United States!

Arch replicas may really be occult symbols to usher in Antichrist

(TRUNEWS) A Christian Author, Michael Synder, claims two upcoming events scheduled for April 19 may actually be occult ceremonies intended to usher in the Antichrist.
A reproduction of the arch from the Temple of Baal in Palmyra, Syria will be put up in New York’s Times Square and Trafalgar Square in London to coincide with a devil-worshipping festival.
Synder questions in Charisma News whether the arches are “welcome signs” for the Antichrist.

He cites the fact that major world events have happened on April 19, including the Waco Massacre of 1993 and the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. Hundreds of people were killed.
April 19 is the first of a 13-day period of time known as “The Blood Sacrifice to the Beast” and the Feast of Moloch, an ancient Canaanite god.
Synder also claims April 20 has significance to occultists since 2016 is a leap year, and it is the 111th day of the year because triple digits are considered to be powerful.
He said Baal worship goes back to Babylon and Nimrod in the Bible. Nimrod established the first “New World Order”, he was worshipped by secret societies, after he died. People believed he would one day be resurrected and rule the world.
Some Christian scholars believe there is a connection between Nimrod and the Antichrist, according to Christianity Today, and that these are the end times.
“From this point forward, things are going to get much, much stranger. Ultimately, the world that we live in is going to come to resemble something out of a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel,” Synder warns.
Breaking Israel News points out the temple was a symbol of defiance and promiscuity in the ancient world, and those views have become popular again in recent decades.

Among the dignitaries and media gathered were a handful of God’s people, a man with a shirt bearing witness to Jesus, another carrying a cross with the inscription Jeremiah 1:5 and still others silently bearing witness.
And then the moment came: to the sound of the Middle Eastern instruments, and to the applause of those gathered, the giant sheet was pulled off of the object to reveal the ancient arch – looking very much the same as it would have to Baal’s ancient worshipers in Palmyra – only now it stood in a new land – America.
As I stared at the ancient object being set up in New York City, I was struck in the same way as I was when I saw the nine prophetic signs of “The Harbinger.” Since 9/11, America has not only not returned to God – it has rebelled against Him in an ever deepening, ever intensifying and ever accelerating apostasy. It is eerily following the judgment template of the harbingers and the footsteps of ancient Israel as it headed to destruction.
And now, against all odds, the sign of Baal has appeared on American soil, the sign of a nation that had once known God, having fallen away, the sign of the god of the harbingers, the sign of national apostasy, the sign of judgment.
When I stood on Capitol Hill, one year earlier, and spoke before leaders and members of Congress, I said this:
As Elijah stood on top of Mount Carmel and cried out to Israel in its hour of decision, in between two altars and two gods, his voice now cries out to America and says to us, “Choose you this day whom you will serve.” Seventy years ago, the chaplain of the United States Senate cried out in the same voice, and said to this nation, “If the Lord be God, then follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him … and go to hell!”
As I watched the unveiling of the ancient monument in New York City, I feared the coming true of those words – an America now turning to Baal … and going to hell.
