Dems outlawing 1 Corinthians
A Christian columnist and conservative radio commentator is taking on Democrats in Congress who have introduced legislation similar to that in California that would ban Christian counseling for those who want help overcoming same-sex attraction.
In doing so, Peter Heck says in a video (below), those three Democratic lawmakers – Senators Patty Murray (Washington) and Cory Booker (New Jersey) and Congressman Ted Lieu (California) – are calling the Apostle Paul a fraud.
Heck says Democrats supporting the bill “are determined to make [Paul’s] extending that promise of redemption [in 1 Corinthians], at least to some people, illegal in the United States.”
The legislation is called the “Therapeutic Fraud Prevention Act” (S. 928 / H.R. 2450).
