In a new report called UNSAFE, Americans United for Life (AUL) gathered and analyzed government inspections from coast to coast.

According to the AUL documentation, government inspectors found everything from blood on tables and chairs to a sponge being used repeatedly for a week – without being cleaned.

Blood was also being used for storage in the same refrigerator as employees’ lunches.

“These are not pro-life groups going in and trying to uncover what’s going on in these abortion facilities,” Catherine Glenn Foster, AUL’s president and CEO, told American Family Radio in a Nov. 27 interview.

Foster spoke to AFR host Janet Mefferd about the report, which looked at 754 clinic violations in 32 states, including 65 “chronic offenders” that included Planned Parenthood clinics.

“This is the government going in and conducting inspections,” Foster told Mefferd, “just checking up to see that these facilities are sanitary, if health and safety standards are being followed, if they are following basic standard of care when the comes to patient files and tracking and drugs and all of the different things that go into any health care clinic and certainly into an abortion facility.”

The AUL report also focuses on the effects that abortion has on women.
