Hillary’s ‘lead’ deceptive
According to the RealClearPolitics electoral map, things look bleak for Republican nominee Donald Trump. The map shows Clinton with 272 Electoral votes, which is more than enough to win – if the projections prove true.
Campaign for Working Families PAC Chairman Gary Bauer says these polls are basing their sampling on the 2012 election turnout.
“I can tell you that in many of these polls, they’re assuming turnouts by these various groups that would be identical to the turnouts for Barack Obama, and that’s just ridiculous.” Bauer explained. “There is no way that the black vote that turns out is going to be as high as was for Barack Obama twice.”
Bauer also contends that there have been multiple articles about the lack of enthusiasm among college students for either of the candidates.
“So there is no way that Hillary Clinton is going to get the same youth vote that Barack Obama got, and it may very well that the number of working class men and women who didn’t show up to vote will be way bigger than it’s been in recent years,” the conservative leader insisted. “All the polls are showing that Donald Trump does incredibly well among that group.”
Furthermore, Bauer does not discount the possibility of a Brexit-type vote, in which the polls in Great Britain that predicted that British wanted to remain in the European Union were wrong.
