Reminder: this guy still has pen, phone, 76 days
While the United States holds her collective breath, waiting for Election Day, President Barack Obama will still be finishing the remainder of his second term.
Like all presidents who spend time in the Oval Office, President Obama is spending his final day working on how he’ll be remembered – his legacy.
As of Friday, November 4, the current president has 76 days until January 20, 2017, according to website timeanddate.com.
What that means, according to talk show host Mark Levin, is that he will no longer have to answer to the voters.
“You better watch the day after the election,” the firebrand radio talk show host warned listeners, “because Obama’s going to reign hell on the American people.”
The bureaucracy of the Obama administration, such as the EPA and others, are prepared to push regulations Levin described as “horrific” and “monstrous.”
Political consultant Jeff Crank reminds OneNewsNow that President Obama is no stranger to wielding the phone and the pen.
“We have really a president that’s shown no regard for the Constitution or the checks and balances in it,” he warns, “and someone who’s very ideologically left-wing, someone who when he was elected said he wanted to fundamentally transform America.”
Crank predicts an unusual number of pardons and perhaps the president’s long-stated plan to glose Guantanamo Bay. Then there are his unmet goals regarding climate change and open borders immigration, which could radically change the country.
“On a whole host of issues,” he says, “I think this president is going to be very, very dangerous for our country.”
On the plus side, Crank adds, anything that can be done with a phone and a pen can be undone with a phone and a pen – depending on Election Day.
