Matt Barber is a constitutional attorney and the founder of BarbWire.com. He says with today’s release of the FISA memo, Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged “Russia collusion” is dead in the water.

“I believe that Mueller should be fired immediately,” Barber tells OneNewsNow. “If he has any integrity whatsoever, he now understands that his entire investigation and the entire premise of his investigation is built on criminal fraud. If he has any integrity whatsoever, Mueller will voluntarily step down.”

But if Mueller won’t step down, Barber says the president must act. “Although the political fallout would be intense, I think President Trump should immediately – through [Attorney General] Jeff Sessions or somebody – fire Mueller and put an end to this fraudulent hoax of an investigation.”

Instead, says Barber, attention should be focused where the evidence points – “which is the criminal activity associated with a concerted, conspiratorial, and seditious if not treasonous effort to subvert the government and remove a sitting president through illegal and nefarious means.”

Gary Bauer with American Values is also weighing in.

“Based on initial reports, this memo appears to confirm that unverified opposition research prepared and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign was used to obtain warrants from the super-secret FISA court in order to spy on Hillary Clinton’s and Barack Obama’s political opponents,” he says in Friday’s End of Day report.

“In other words, the Obama administration weaponized the FBI against Donald Trump. It seems that elements of our government conducted themselves as if we are Russia.”

Jordan Sekulow, executive director of the American Center for Law and Justice, says he’s very troubled that the judge who ultimately approved the FISA request to spy on a member of the Trump campaign wasn’t given all the facts by those making the request.

“Telling the judge that the info we received here was commissioned and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic Party – they left that information out; they didn’t include that information to the judge,” notes the attorney.

“So not only were they [the FISA court] basing their decision to move forward on partisan opposition research, but they [FBI and DOJ] intentionally kept that information from the judge’s eyes so the judge would not know.
