In response to Michelle Obama’s recent rant on President-elect Donald Trump while interviewing with Oprah Winfrey, Fox News Host Judge Jeanine Pirro called out the first lady for having the audacity to say that Americans only have hope while her husband is in office.

In her Saturday monologue for the conservative news outlet, Pirro addressed the arrogance of the soon-to-be former first lady when she told Oprah that President Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 election victories fed into America’s momentum of home, but that Trump’s win has given Americans a current lack of hope.

Michelle O challenged

Not letting her off the hook, Pirro directly challenged Michele Obama during her program.

“Since when does hope rise and fall with you and Barack in the White House?” Pirro rhetorically questioned Michelle Obama.

She followed up by pointedly challenging the president’s wife.

“This from a woman who, in 2008 at age 44, said ‘for the first time I’m proud of my country,’” Pirro continued. “[Now] eight years later you’re out of hope?”

The conservative judge and television personality then mentioned how the outgoing first lady asserted during her Oprah interview that it is a fact that her husband brought hope to all Americans – especially in times of crisis – but this is an argument that Pirro was quick to shoot down.

“Did your husband give hope to the parents of James Foley or Steven Sotloff, who was in custody for over a year while his family was told they could not negotiate because they’d be prosecuted before their sons’ heads were chopped off?” Pirro inquired.

She went on to highlight the 52-year-old White House resident’s pride in making such a comment.

“To try to convince America that once you and Barack exit the White House, hope is removed from America — that’s an outrage!” Pirro exclaimed.

Turning the tables

The vocal judge followed up by turning the tables on Oprah’s guest, insisting that with the election of Trump, America now has hope, but for the Obamas, hope has extinguished.

“For you, hope is gone,” Pirro impressed.

The legal expert then maintained that following Trump’s swearing into office in a few weeks, no more luxurious international travel “at will” at taxpayers’ expense will be on the Obama family’s itinerary, as the presidential prestige, entourage and red carpet treatment days on the road are quickly coming to an end.

Pirro proceeded to give Michelle Obama and her husband a lecture on hope – reminding her that she does not have the following or support she professes to have.

“Michelle, you may not realize it, but Americans rejected you and everything you stand for,” Pirro explained. “They know what hope is. Hope is when people – 30,000 at a time – stand in line in the cold, with their children, hoping to get the glimpse of a man that they think could change the course of their lives from the downward spiral that you and ‘Mr. Hope and Change’ have put them on.”

Pirro was not the only one who reacted to Michelle Obama’s presumptuous comments about hope.

“Trump also responded to Obama’s comments about hope, telling a large crowd at the final stop of his ‘victory tour’ in Alabama on Saturday that America now has ‘tremendous hope’ under his leadership,” TheBlaze reported.
