Parents vs. propagandists and their ‘Gender Unicorn’
And the parents don’t have the left-wing media, and The Gender Unicorn, on their side.
Young people are “swimming in misinformation” thanks to homosexual propaganda, says Peter LaBarbera, whose Americans for Truth organization exposes homosexual activism.
“All around them: online, in school, pop culture,” he observes. “So we should expect that their views would be out of whack on these issues.”
A recently released poll by left-wing group GenForward and the University of Chicago shows overwhelming support among youth for special rights for homosexuals and transgenders, including adoption and medical coverage for sex change.
The poll surveyed 1,940 adults age 18-30 in July, finding that young whites are most favorable to homosexual rights than blacks, Hispanics, and Asians, The Associated Press reported.
It’s doubtful that those adults, born no later than 1986, are aware that homosexuality was considered a mental disorder by the American Psychiatric Association. It was dropped in 1973 when 55 percent of APA members, under pressure from homosexual activists, voted to remove it from the DSM.
Regarding the dangers of homosexuality lifestyle, the Centers for Disease Control shows that HIV cases have grown six percent among homosexual and bisexual men while dropping 19 percent among the U.S. population. Those men make up two percent of the population but 55 percent of HIV cases.
But it’s unlikely school children would hear such grim statistics in a Gender Unicorn presentation in public schools or at an after-school GLSEN meeting.
It’s also doubtful to hear such news from the Association of LGBTQ Journalists at the same time it’s urging members to find “new ways” to report on HIV and AIDS.
The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture meanwhile, is trying to help lesbian farmers and the Pentagon is paying for service members to undergo a sex change operation.
With such overwhelming propaganda competing for the public’s hearts and minds, LaBarbera says pro-family advocates must do more to reach children exposed to such propaganda.
LaBarbera suggests few children are aware of the other side of the story, which is former homosexuals who have left the lifestyle.
“Most of them through Christ. Most of them Christians,” LaBarbera notes.
