Zales promotes SSM in latest ad
In its latest commercial, Zales Jewelers features two women getting married while promoting their new “Love and Pride” wedding band collection, specially designed for the LGBTQ community.
Monica Cole, who serves as director of OneMillionMoms.com – a division of the American Family Association (AFA) – is very concerned about this controversial advertisement.
“Not only is it normalizing sin of same-sex marriage, but its airing when children are likely watching during family viewing time, during mid-afternoon NFL ball games and during primetime.”
Cole told OneNewsNow that Zales Jewelers is making a mistake by trying to be politically correct.
“Many of our OneMillionMoms supporters are posting on Facebook and responding by email, stating that they were so glad that OneMillionMoms sent out this warning because they will keep this in mind and avoid Zales Jewelers while doing their Christmas shopping – and all year long,” the pro-family leader shared.
Cole argues that Zales Jewelers should remain neutral in the cultural war. She insists that it is up to parents – not a retailer – to introduce so-called “social issues” to children.
