Girl Scouts and PP team up for immoral sex ed
The Girl Scouts of Western Washington is providing a puberty workshop from January to May next year. The Wright Conversations organization, which has been honored by Planned Parenthood, will be instructing girls ages six and up on intimate matters and in a very explicit manner.
Patti Garibay, who heads American Heritage Girls told OneNewsNow that girls need to understand more than the mechanics of their sexuality.
“So, when I see programs that are called information-based sexuality programs, it just raises a red flag because what that typically means is they will be devoid of any morality or any faith tradition around those very important topics of sexuality that really should be discussed – in my view – with the parents and the church,” Garibay expressed.
The pro-family advocate also noted that the program offered by the Wright Conversations group goes to an extreme.
“It even goes beyond actual sexual acts, but onto subjects such as abortion, and this is 4th- through 6th-grade girls, and to go and explore these sites to get your information about sexuality and about strong moral issues such as abortion … that is very scary, and I find it rather reckless,” Garibay continued.
American Heritage Girls provides resources to better equip parents and churches to address the sensitive issue of human sexulity with a biblically based moral perspective.
