Activists in U.K., U.S. push pre-school gay-ed
United Kingdom’s education secretary, Justine Greening, has unveiled what she calls “Relationships Education,” meaning that children in primary schools as young as four will be taught that same-gender relationships are as normal as opposite-gender ones. And parents will not be permitted to opt out their children.
The Christian Institute reports that in the House of Commons, Conservative Member of Parliament Sir Edward Leigh rose in support of an amendment to the Children and Social Work Bill that would end the notion.
“The first thing that a totalitarian regime tries to do,” Leigh said, “is get at the children to distance them from the subversive, varied influences of their families, and indoctrinate them in their ruler’s view of the world. Within limits, families must be left to bring up their children in their own way.”
He further told Parliament that parents should have the freedom to raise their children based on their own values.
“The state should not impose its values on the parents,” he says.
The same thing is happening in U.S. schools, and there is no apparent action challenging it. Planned Parenthood offers graphic sex education to young people online in America’s public education system. Groups such as International Planned Parenthood and Marie Stopes International offer it internationally except in nations that prohibit it because it promotes aberrant lifestyles, promiscuity, and abortion.
