Human Sacrifice? There’s an App For That

September 22, 2017
A new app for smart devices aimed at children allows them to pick people they can then sacrifice to Satan.
The “game” is titled “Goat Simulator,” and its developer lists it as having a “9+” rating, meaning it’s considered suitable for children as young as 9 years old. Among the reasons for the rating:
- Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humor
- Infrequent/Mild Cartoon or Fantasy Violence
- Infrequent/Mild Mature/Suggestive Themes
Here’s the official description of the game:
Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology, bringing next-gen goat simulation to YOU. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your mobile dreams have finally come true!
Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you’re a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game.
What they don’t tell you is that the goal of the game is to take part in a satanic human sacrifice ritual that turns your “normal goat” into a “devil goat.” As the game’s official wiki explains:
Sacrifice five humans or goats at the Pentagram, as with the Devil Goat achievement. To find the Pentagram: Go to the Party, find the trail left to the Boulder of Death, go past the Power Tower, and once you see the red pentagram, you’ll know you’re there. Bring 5 humans or goats to the pentagram and when you’re done, have some fun as an animal evil soul!
The game was first released in 2014, but has spawned a whole series of sequels, all of which are along the same lines.
