Hillary’s disconnect between Islam, terrorism exposed
The desire of Clinton’s campaign to insulate Islam from terrorism is noted by one political expert as being worse than President Barack Obama’s pro-Muslim rhetoric shielding the religion from any connection to terror.
The revealing email was in response to a tweet sent out by MSNBC Host Chris Hayes, who reported on the murderous Islamic rampage that killed 14 Americans in California last December.
“NBC News now reporting a U.S. citizen named Sayeed Farouk [sic] believed to be one of the people involved in the shooting,” Hayes announced on Twitter after the jihadist attack, according to WND.
An internal email sent by Clinton’s campaign spokeswoman Karen Finney to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta – in response to the report that the shooting had suspects with Arab/Islamic-sounding names – expressed her disappointment in the news, which was summed up in one word, “Damn.”
Seeing the tweet forwarded by Finney, Podesta shot back an email in agreement with her sentiments on the matter.
“Better if a guy named Sayeed Farouk [sic] was reporting that a guy named Christopher Hayes was the shooter,” Podesta replied.
The communication between Finney and Podesta came in anticipation of news that was announced soon after the horrific attack — that the couple’s attack was intimately tied to their commitment of carry out jihad in the name of Islam.
“This exchange took place on Dec. 2, 2015, the same day Syed Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, killed 14 people in a terrorist attack at a Christmas party in San Bernardino,” WND’s Paul Bremmer reported. “They were both devout Sunni Muslims who had traveled to and from Saudi Arabia in the years leading up to the attack.”
More protecting Islam, endangering Americans
Former United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Officer Philip Haney contends that the emails between Clinton’s campaign officials provides further evidence that another Clinton administration will do all it can to defend Muslims at the expense of Americans’ safety.
“[The Podesta-Finney exchange is] just another expression of the overall attempt to insulate Islam from terrorism so that they can maintain their narrative that Islam is not a threat to us,” Haney told WND.
Even though Clinton asserts that she will work to wipe out the Islamic State – which she claims is not Islamic – Haney, who authored See Something, Say Nothing: A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Government’s Submission to Jihad, argues that she cannot defeat terrorists if her staffers are more worried about protecting Muslims from any connection to terrorism.
“If you’re investigating any network or organization that was comprised of a particular ethnic group or belief, and you make it an overt policy that you cannot include that in the development of your case, then how can you possibly be effective?” Haney posed. “You can’t be, because to this point, at least, they have consistently refused to acknowledge or discuss the plainly stated goal of the global Islamic movement, which is the implementation of Shariah law.”
Warning about a Hillary administration
One concealment initiative employed by Clinton to form a disconnect between Islam and terrorism includes UN Resolution 16/18 and the Istanbul Process, which was approved in March 2011 and ordered governments to make all speech illegal that “constitutes an incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence” against a religious group – a policy clearly devised to protect Islam.
The global effort to isolate Islam from any ties to jihad was successful, as Clinton pointed out months later.
“In July 2011, then-Secretary of State Clinton thanked the Organization of Islamic Conference for helping to pass Resolution 16/18 during a gathering in Istanbul,” Bremmer informed. “This was the beginning of the ‘Istanbul Process’ – a transnational law initiative that sought to implement measures against speech that perpetuates negative stereotypes of Islam and Muslims, particularly in the West. Clinton took a leading role in the Istanbul Process and made it one of her major foreign policy initiatives.”
And this was by no means the end of Clinton’s efforts to band with Islamists to disassociate them from jihad.
“It was also the Clinton State Department that, in 2012, effectively shut down the National Targeting Center’s Tablighi Jamaat Initiative, which Haney had helped launch,” Bremmer continued. “The State Department, together with the DHS’s Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, ordered that intelligence based on religious affiliation be disregarded due to concerns over Muslim civil rights and civil liberties.”
According to Haney, such attempts to hide the fact that terrorism is carried out by strict adherents to Islam provides convincing testimony to the contention that another Clinton as commander-in-chief would be utterly ineffective in the war on terror, since she shows no signs of giving up her plans to protect Islam at all costs.
“I would say I don’t really believe – based on her past affiliations and policies – that Hillary Clinton would change in the future,” Haney reasoned. “I suggest that she would emphasize even more of these programs to disassociate Islam from terrorism.”
Worse than Obama …
American Freedom Defense Initiative President Pamela Geller, who frequently receives death threats for being a global voice against Islamic terrorism – maintains that if Clinton moves into the White House in January, she would deny Islam’s connection to terrorism far worse than Obama and his administration, who have been utterly ineffective in the fight against Islamic terrorism during his two terms.
“They would continue the denial and willful ignorance that deforms Obama administration policy now,” Geller, who wrote the book Stop the Islamization of America explained to WND. “Clinton is likely to be even worse than Obama because she is financially beholden to terror sponsors such as Saudi Arabia.”
It is contended by the retired DHS officer Haney that Podesta’s unwillingness to address Islamic terrorism will undermine years of hard work that he and fellow counterterrorism officials have done to make Americans safer – and this attitude is feared to bring about disastrous implications for police in the U.S.
“Law enforcement officers are either directly ordered not to focus on Islamic groups or individuals, or it’s more subtle, where the implication is that if you do, your career may suffer what we call adverse action,” Haney pointed out.
Coming to his conclusions through much more than speculation, Haney knows first-handedly what goes on behind White House doors to keep Islam’s culpability in terror attacks under wraps.
“In 2009, [Haney’s] DHS superiors ordered him to ‘modify’ about 850 records on the Muslim Brotherhood he had entered into DHS’s electronic database,” WND stated. “The Obama administration did not wish to investigate Muslim Brotherhood members as terrorists because it relied on the Brotherhood and other Muslim groups with terrorism ties to help craft U.S. counter-terrorism policy. Three years later, in 2012, the administration erased from the database all 67 of Haney’s records dealing with Muslims associated with the Tablighi Jamaat movement. Then his superiors investigated him for putting that data into the system, which was the job he was supposed to be doing.”
Haney discovered that the Obama administration had zero tolerance for those working to reveal the truth about Islamists and their connection to terrorism.
“The problems I had during my active duty career weren’t for insubordination or failure to follow orders or any of those kind of things,” Haney shared with WND. “They were for the fact that I kept focusing on Islamic individuals and groups and tried to tie it in together to show that there were networks operating in the United States tied to global-level networks that posed a threat, and the administration continued to insist that I was basically biased and unfounded in my concerns.”
He wants to see a commander-in-chief take over the Oval Office in January who recognizes that Islamic jihad is not an end goal, but a tactic employed by Muslims around the world. The former DHS officer impresses the fact that the true goal of the global Islamic movement is the global enforcement of Shariah law – a realization that he hopes the U.S.’s leaders will embrace before it is too late.
“Until they come to the point where they acknowledge that the global Islamic movement’s goal is the implementation of Shariah, then we will keep seeing the same kinds of attacks happen over and over, both here in America and in other places around the world,” Haney concludes.
