Terror strikes Stockholm: At least 3 dead in truck attack

The death count has been increased to three dead.
UPDATE [10:33 ET] Prison Planet Editor-at-Large Paul Joseph Watson shared a photo of what appears to be the suspect arrested by Swedish authorities in Stockholm.
UPDATE [10:12 ET] Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven told local press that the suspect behind the terrorist attack has been detained.
A Swedish Security Police spokesman told Swedish public radio that “Parliament and Stockholm subway are in lockdown.”
On Friday at least two people were killed by a truck in Stockholm, Sweden in what police are calling a terror attack
(WASHINGTON, DC) At least two people have been killed and many injured after a truck drove into pedestrians on a Stockholm street, police confirmed. Authorities say they are treating the incident as a possible terrorist attack.
“I saw hundreds of people run, they ran for their lives,” a witness by the name of Anna told the newspaper, adding that she also fled the scene.
“A vehicle has injured people on Drottningatan,” police spokeswoman Towe Hagg told Reuters.
A reporter for Sveriges Radio says he has seen at least three dead people. Public service radio EKOT has also reported that three people were killed in the incident.
Police have not confirmed any deaths in the incident, but say they have received information that people are injured.
A worker at Åhlens department store said the truck drove into the store’s perfume department. He said an alarm went off inside the store and everyone was asked to leave the building, SVT reported.
A photo posted online shows the truck after it crashed into Åhlens department store, with the caption stating that the vehicle came from a direction in which trucks are not allowed.
Helicopters are circling above the area, a witness told SVT. Gun shots have been reported from a separate location according to Sky News. There has been no confirmation if these shots came from police or assailants.
Footage posted on Twitter shows panicked pedestrians fleeing the scene.

Swedish police were alerted at 2:53pm local time, and officers are currently at the scene, according to SVT.
A witness by the name of Dimitris told Aftonbladet that he saw at least two people run over by the vehicle.
The incident comes less than three weeks after a Muslim attacker plowed a vehicle into pedestrians in London, killing four people. One police officer was also fatally stabbed by the attacker.
