Franklin Graham champions ‘deplorables’
As one of America’s top Christian leaders, Graham is encouraging Americans to be proud of their conservative Christian values and reclaim their American heritage – and not be ashamed for standing in opposition to politically correct agendas pushed by former President Barack Obama, Clinton and other Leftists who openly promote abortion, homosexuality, immigration and demilitarization.
Fighting the good fight
The numerous fights for social conservative ideals on many fronts – as noted above — are all part of the message behind Fox News and Commentary Host Todd Starnes’ new book, The Deplorables’ Guide to Making America Great Again, which he says serves as a handbook on how to “fight back against Social Justice Warriors and secular humanists” who have been dominating the mainstream media since the presidential campaigns began over a year ago.
Standing behind Starnes’ message to America, Graham is endorsing the conservative journalists’ new work so that conservative and Bible-minded Americans will no longer hold their heads down as progressive activists continue to dominate mainstream media and bash those holding to traditional values by calling them bigots, haters racists … and deplorables.
“Todd Starnes has a pulse on today’s culture and shines a discerning light on political correctness that has indoctrinated the minds of people from every walk of life,” the president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association proclaimed, according to Fox News.
The evangelist from North Carolina maintains that God had a hand in last November’s presidential election, and he would like to see Americans rally behind President Donald Trump as he champions biblical principles from the Oval Office and tries to restore America to the very patriotic values that made the country great in the first place – more than two centuries ago.
Standing for core values, not parties
Starnes impresses the fact that the ultimate battle is not over what the red and blue political parties can do for Americans; it is about bringing back the core principles and beliefs upon which the United States was founded, which were championed by true heroes of the faith – commonly known as America’s Founding Fathers.
“If we really want to restore traditional values to our culture – we can’t rely on the Republicans or the Democrats,” the author and conservative personality insisted. “It’s going to be up to us – the folks Hillary Clinton called a basket of deplorables.’”
Starnes says that even though conservative Republicans have enjoyed major victories over the past few months, the war is not over when it comes to fighting for the principles that Americans have held dear and died for over the generations.
“Yes, we elected Donald Trump, we saved the Supreme Court and we’re going to defend American sovereignty, but winning was just the beginning,” the politically incorrect pundit declared. “[But Americans need] practical advice on fighting and winning the war on traditional values,” — which he claims his book offers.
Regrounding America
Another conservative Christian leader supporting the message behind Starnes’ book is former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, who contends that young Americans will greatly benefit by being introduced to the concepts that give will lead them a new sense of national pride.
“[The book] should be required reading for every high school student and every patriot in America,” the former Arkansas governor asserted. “Page after page Todd reminds us that every generation has a responsibility to defend our freedom. Todd delivers a dose of deep-fried reality served up with a heaping helping of his signature Southern humor.”
Starnes argues that the only way America can be reclaimed is “with the Bible in one hand,” and “a hefty dose of humor in the other,” maintaining that Americans must be “Happy Warriors,” – not angry, virulent protesters like the ones seen holding anti-Trump signs who the mainstream media has covered over the past year.
