PP says black lives matter, but keeps killing them
Many Americans are pointing out the hypocrisy of the abortion giant for condemning the nation’s entire police force for a handful of deaths when it is guilty of methodically wiping out hundreds of African American babies on a daily basis.
“The abortion chain is responsible for killing more black lives through abortion than guns and dozens of other causes combined,” LifeNews reports. “And more black Americans and pro-lifers are calling out Planned Parenthood for its ironic statements about violence against human lives.”
Pot calling the kettle black?
In response to the escalating racial tensions following the riots and violence that have been sweeping Charlotte, North Carolina – which were triggered by a black police officer fatally shooting a unconfrontational black man – Planned Parenthood posted a series of Tweets shortly after the incident last week.
On Tuesday, Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards was one of the first in her organization to take to Twitter in order to address the controversial killing of Charlotte resident Keith Scott.
“Everyone must own the responsibility we have as a nation to stand against the violence being done to Black people in America,” tweeted Richards, who takes in $590,928 a year as the head of the abortion industry. “There are no words adequate to express the outrage and grief – stop killing Black people.”
Underneath her social media post read the following statements touted by her organization: “We must address state violence. Freedom from violence is reproductive freedom … We stand with communities affirming that #BlackLivesMatter.”
Questioning Planned Parenthood’s stand for black lives
Pointing out the irony behind Planned Parenthood’s newly declared concern for black lives, one conservative columnist took the opportunity to challenge the taxpayer-funded entity to put an end to its mass killings of preborn black babies – a prompt it was encouraged to carry out if it really stands behind its message that “black lives matter.”
“Planned Parenthood is one of the greatest perpetrators of violence against African Americans in this country,” D.C. McAllister wrote in The Federalist. “It’s founded on racism, perpetuates racism and kills more than 850 African Americans every day.”
She then addressed an issue that often evokes silence from Planned Parenthood – that it targets the black community with its abortion operations across America.
“Black people make up about 13 percent of the population, yet comprise 37 percent of all abortions,” McAllister informed. “Black women are 4.8 times more likely to have an abortion than white women are. Approximately 78 percent of Planned Parenthood’s clinics are in minority communities, and black babies are three times more likely to be killed from an abortion than white babies.”
A challenge to Parenthood was soon to follow:
“Clearly, if anyone should ‘stop killing black people,’ it’s Planned Parenthood,” McAllister asserted. “The real violence against minorities in America isn’t on the streets of Charlotte or any other city – it’s in the clinics of Planned Parenthood.”
Let the truth be known
In addition to McAllister’s challenge, black pastors, including Reverend Dr. Clenard H. Childress, Jr., along with other pro-life leaders, are calling out Planned Parenthood’s hypocrisy. As the founder of Blackgenocide.org, Childress made a recent appeal to African Americans to recognize Planned Parenthood as the wolf in sheep’s clothing in black communities across the nation.
“Now I say to all Americans – but especially and in particular to my African American Brothers and Sisters (of which I am one) – ‘Will you ever recognize this conspiracy against you?’”Childress posed last month. “For the leading killer of innocent unarmed African Americans – whose hands were up, but given no choice nor chance at the American Dream their fellow African American, Dr. Martin Luther King preached about – is Planned Parenthood!”
It is also argued that Planned Parenthood’s flagrant disregard for the sanctity of life can be witnessed through its treatment of black women themselves.
“Unborn babies are not the only ones losing their lives at Planned Parenthood’s abortion facilities,” LifeNews’ Micaiah Bilger argues. “In 2014, Planned Parenthood was forced to pay a $2 million settlement to the family of a black woman named Tonya Reaves who died from a botched abortion at one of its Illinois facilities in 2012. News reports indicate that Planned Parenthood waited five hours before it sent Reaves to a local hospital emergency room for treatment. The death of another young black woman also is being investigated after she had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood on June 30 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.”
