Special Forces and other law enforcement agencies in London are preparing for terror attacks – maybe as many as 10 at once.

There is concern over Paris-like attacks by British terrorists returning from Syria against “Western lifestyle” targets, according to the Times of Israel.

“We used to plan for three simultaneous attacks but Paris has shown that you need to be ready for more than that,” an unnamed minister said.

Officials have also prepped for a potential chemical or biological weapons attack.  In the past few months, security services have conducted two counterterrorism exercises.  Teams at Vauxhall Barracks in Oxfordshire are ready to go if needed.

Last year, the British Government Strategic Defense and Security Review noted that 10,000 troops could be deployed.

The UK National Crime Agency is focused on finding illegal firearms brought into the country, as reported by The Telegraph.

Police claim they have stopped seven plots between late 2014 and early 2016 and have made 339 arrests.

The Special Air Service (SAS) is conducting exercises to deal with potential weapons of mass destruction after the capture of Salah Abdeslam, the terrorist arrested last week in connection with the November Paris attacks.  He told police he was supposed to detonate his suicide vest during the simultaneous attacks in Paris, but changed his mind.
